Reviewing Process
Review Process for ISRECOS
ISRECOS maintains a rigorous and transparent review process to ensure the publication of high-quality research. The review process is following multiple stages as decribed below.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through our online submission system. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to our [submission guidelines](#).
2. Initial Screening
Upon submission, the manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial office to assess its alignment with the journal's scope and its adherence to the formatting requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria will be returned to the authors for revision.
3. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent experts in the field for peer review. The double-blind review process ensures that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other, promoting an unbiased assessment.
4. Reviewer Reports
Reviewers provide detailed reports on the manuscript, evaluating its originality, significance, methodology, and clarity. They may recommend:
- Acceptance: The manuscript is accepted with minor or no revisions.
- Minor Revisions: The manuscript requires minor changes before acceptance.
- Major Revisions: The manuscript requires substantial changes and re-evaluation.
- Rejection: The manuscript does not meet the journal's standards for publication.
5. Decision
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board makes a decision regarding the manuscript. Authors are notified of the decision and provided with the reviewers' comments. If revisions are required, authors must submit a revised manuscript addressing the reviewers' feedback.
6. Final Decision
The revised manuscript is reviewed again by the editorial board. If the revisions satisfy the reviewers' concerns, the manuscript is accepted for publication. If not, further revisions may be requested or the manuscript may be rejected.
7. Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript undergoes final editing and formatting before being published in the journal. Authors will receive proofs for final approval before publication.
We are committed to maintaining a fair and efficient review process to ensure the timely publication of high-quality research.
ISRECOS uses comprehensive guidelines on good publication practice released by The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
