About the Journal
The IC-NEXUS 2025 Proceedings is the official collection of scholarly works presented at the 1st International Conference on Nonformal Education for Experiential and Uplifting Societies (IC-NEXUS 2025), organized by the Bachelor on Nonformal Education (BNE) Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Bengkulu, Indonesia.
Held virtually via Zoom on October 1, 2025, under the theme:
“Inclusive Community Empowerment Through Adult and Lifelong Learning Education Based on Internet of Things (IoT)”
the conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and academics to explore innovative practices and emerging trends in nonformal education. It served as a platform for sharing insights on how nonformal, adult, and lifelong learning—strengthened by IoT and digital technologies—can effectively empower communities and address societal challenges in inclusive, sustainable ways.
This publication compiles keynote addresses, invited talks, and selected peer-reviewed papers that span a wide range of sub-themes, including:
