Abstract

Post-tin mining land includes land that has low nutrient availability, which determines
the right dose of N, P, and K fertilizers for sorghum plant growth on post-tin mining. This study
aims to determine which sorghum varieties have optimal growth in post-tin mining land and
determine the right doses of N, P, and K fertilizers for sorghum plant growth on post-tin mining
land. The research was conducted on the land of Kampoeng Reklamasi Air Jangkang,
Merawang District, Bangka Regency from November 2023 to March 2024. The first factor was
3 varieties of sorghum (Numbu, Bioguma, and Super 2). The second factor is doses of N, P, and
K fertilizer consisting of Urea 90 kg/ha, SP-36 60kg/ha, KCl 45 kg/ha (P1) and Urea 180 kg/ha,
SP-36 120kg/ha, KCl 90 kg/ha. The results showed that variety treatment had a very significant
on plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, and panicle length and variety treatment had a
significant to root length and seed weight per plant. The variety that has the best adaptability is
the Numbu. Fertilizer doses significantly affected leaf length, panicle length, and wet stover
weight. The treatment of 100% N, P, and K fertilizer doses gave better results than 50%. There
is a significant interaction effect on root length parameters.
