Abstract

This study explores the strategic role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in facilitating sustainability across global corporations. Through a systematic literature review, four core propositions are identified: the integration of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM), continuous training and development, the use of technology, and effective change management. First, GHRM practices align recruitment, performance evaluation, and employee incentives with corporate sustainability goals, fostering a sustainable organizational culture. Second, ongoing training programs enhance employees' understanding of sustainability while addressing cross-cultural differences in multinational contexts. Third, technology plays a vital role in tracking real-time sustainability performance, supporting decision-making, and scaling environmental efforts globally. Lastly, active involvement of HRM in change management ensures smooth transitions by addressing resistance, fostering communication, and securing leadership commitment to sustainability initiatives. These findings provide a comprehensive framework for leveraging HRM as a driver of corporate sustainability and highlight the need for future research on adapting GHRM to diverse cultural and regulatory contexts. This study contributes both theoretically and practically by offering insights into how HRM can be a catalyst for embedding sustainability in global operations.
